Is Huatulco safe?

Are there direct flights to Huatulco International Airport (HUX)?

Please be mindful, Huatulco International Airport is in Oaxaca State. Oaxaca City is the capital of the Oaxaca state. This can cause some confusion. Make sure, when booking a flight, selecting the airport code HUX for Huatulco. If you need to fly with a stop over in MEX, Mexico City, your bags will be checked in to your final destination in Huatulco. There is only one hour flight from MEX to HUX. Many people take advantage of it for a weekend jump to a never sleeping metropolis, Mexico City.

Are there any five ***** Accommodations in Huatulco? YES!

There are several hotels and resorts that falls under that category, including some private villas with pool and ocean front. Please follow this link to explore more. Check also for local real estate agencies offering vocational rental.

Budget friendly accommodations. YES!

Huatulco offers a wide array of hotels, apartments and private rooms. Renting an apartment can sometime be more accessible for a family or a couple. Pets are not always allowed. Keep in mind, there is a high and low price season. The high season is usually October till April. Check the sites such as Booking.com, Trivago, Expedia, Facebook Huatulco Expats Groups. There are also local rental agencies that will provide you with accommodation.

How can I get around?

There are airport shuttles and taxis that will bring you to your accommodation. Getting around town, taxis are best choice. They have fixed fees, 35 pesos intown, 60, 70 and 100 pesos for more out of town areas. Car rental or scooter rental are available at various locations..

Come to our Sanctuary beach ready

"Come Beach Ready" Please come prepared as if you were going to the beach. Avoid wearing scented products. Wear lightweight clothing, bring two large beach towels, sandals, and a water bottle. Refrain from eating for at least 4 hours before your appointment. If you are diabetic, have a light meal and bring some healthy snacks. Please ensure personal hygiene and avoid strong body odors. Don't forget to bring socks.

Payment Options

We recommend paying cash or bank transfers as our preferred methods of payment. Additionally, we accept online payment apps such as Wise, Global66, or Bitso. Please note that there is a transaction fee associated with card payments.

Payment for all services must be made either before or after the service at the time of checkout. If necessary, there are three different banks located on the main street where cash can be obtained. Please be aware our establishment does not provide credit.

Insurance Coverage

We are a private members organization in Mexico. Our services are not covered by insurance in Mexico. However, if your insurance in your country covers some of our services, please let us know if there is a specific template we should use to issue you an invoice.

What illness do you treat?

We are a wellness detox center dedicated to education. Please note that we are not a medical establishment, and as such, we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe pharmaceuticals. At our institute, we utilize cutting-edge frequency technology, SPA treatments, and nutraceuticals to support the body in natural detoxification and regeneration, promoting a faster pace of healing.

Missing the appointment

We kindly request that you respect appointment times and dates as it can have a negative impact on your treatment process as well as our workflow and availability of treatments for other members. If you arrive late, we may not be able to accommodate the full duration of the scheduled treatment. If you require us to work after hours, an additional charge equivalent to double the regular rate will apply. If you miss the scheduled intake appointment, the full fee for that appointment will be charged. However, if desired, we can book another appointment for you.
Please note that upfront payment is required for intake appointments. In the event of an emergency, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. No-shows or lates will result in charges.


Rescheduling

Changes to appointments are allowed with a minimum of 48 hours' notice.

Please be aware that any changes made to your appointments may result in disruptions to your treatment process, as well as affect the availability of treatments for other members and the overall workflow of the Sanctuary.

For appointment change requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, a full treatment day will be charged. Additionally, we are unable to reschedule Intake appointments with less than 48 hours' notice in advance.
